Intro Timeline Reflection (01-C): August 31, 2012.
1. My images are blended together well because of the overlapping and pressure technique I used with my colored pencils.
2. I could've spent more time on my tree because I rushed it.
3. The theme of this timeline is to represent parts of my life. My three biggest are probably my ipod, Sun/Moon and tree, and my paint brush. These are important to me because I love art, all types. Music, nature, and art, art.
4. The more dominant family colors I have, are warm colors. I used the colors in my back ground a lot and in my sun/moon. They were nice colors to transition with and blend. The cool colors are my least dominant. I think that's just how it worked out, but I usually lean towards cool colors, which is interesting.
5. I have nature repeating in my timeline. I really love the natural beauty of nature. Another thing that repeats are the arts, different forms of art. I have music, nature, and painting.
6. I can apply almost all of my images to future projects. All of them are things I like to paint or draw. I learned that colored pencils are more fun than I thought and found out I can blend colors together.
7. I drew a rough draft first of 4 images that represents events in my life or something important to me. The first image I drew was the baby, obviously representing my birth and my name because of the leaf in collaborated with it. I skipped a few spaces and drew my sun/moon which wasn't on my timeline. I colored each image right after I drew it. And I drew and colored the others a little randomly.
8. Yes, it's interesting. I liked figuring out where I was going to place my images and how I was going to re-draw them onto the reciept. I think we get too much time with it. I'm a procrastinator and I had it finished a couple days before it was due. And it's a good way of learning about ourselves and others.
